On a fine spring Sunday, we finally managed to do our re-scheduled harvest mouse nest survey at Hardwick Scrub, Saxilby. After an hour or so of surveying the rewilding area’s tufts of shrub, we had managed to locate 2 old harvest mouse nests! Once we were finished, we helped Ross and Eleanor of the Saxilby Rewilding Project with planting some Devil’s-bit Scabious wildflowers.
Thank you all once again for coming, and thank you to Ross and Eleanor for letting us use your fantastic rewilding project. See you next time!
P.S: You can find out more about the Saxilby Rewilding Project here.
